Our last Shabbat in Jerusalem
On our final Shabbat in Jerusalem, we attended Friday evening services at the Jerusalem Great Synagogue on King George St. The service was amazing with Chief Cantor Chaim Adler leading the service and the Great Synagogue choir conducted by Elli Jaffe participating throughout Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv.
After Shabbat, again we visited Ben Yehudah Street, and heard a very talented pianist playing on a “concrete” piano bolted down right in the middle of the plaza. Also, there was this wonderful choir singing their hearts out!
We leave you with some beautiful pictures of the King David Hotel, Mamilla Plaza, the Montefiore Windmill, and magnificent flowers!

► PurimFest is Thursday, March 13. The carnival begins at 4:30 PM and the Megillah Meisters present "Shushani Street" Purim Spiel at 6:00 PM. See you there!
► The 64th Annual AFS Shabbat will be on Friday, April 25. Let us know by March 28 if you can host a student for Shabbat dinner at your home or would like to attend Shabbat dinner at another member's home. Services start at 7:30 PM and will include a question and answer session with the rabbi and cantor.
