We encourage families to join for this special study session and service as we enter the final days leading up to the High Holy Days. The evening will begin with Havdalah and study on Saturday, September 28 at 7:30. Our study will focus on the Untaneh Tokef prayer, which declares the power of the season. This text provides various images that can be difficult process during High Holy Days. Through exploration of artistic expressions, we will consider how various artists have approached the theme of the prayer. Participants will then have a chance to create their own artistic expression of the text using various media. No artistic skills required.

The evening continues with the Selichot Service, including changing the Torah mantles to their High Holy Day whites, at 9:00 pm. Participate in either or both parts of the evening as we complete our final preparations for the new year
