On Rosh Hashanah, I discussed the importance of tzedakah. This is an obligation and a tradition of our people, to increase justice and righteousness in the world.
I would like to thank those of you who have contributed to our High Holy Day appeal. As many of you know, our annual commitment of funds do not meet all of our budgetary needs. Your ongoing support therefore is critical for us to continue our mission to be “a vibrant spiritual home and place of learning where all individuals can deepen their Jewish identity, engage with our community and give back to our world.”
Many of us consider making year-end donations as 2017 draws to a close. I would ask that you keep CEEBJ in mind at this time of year. May our acts of tzedakah help make 5778 a year of blessing for us all.
