I am honored and thrilled to have started my role as the new Executive Director of CEEBJ. First of all, I wanted to join the entire staff and membership in thanking Betty Lieberman for lending her remarkable talents and energy to the role of Interim Executive Director since Spring of 2016. I am so grateful that Betty will continue on as VP of Administration, and that we will work closely together to support CEEBJ.
CEEBJ is a wonderful community, and we are at a special time in our 161- year history, with a warm, growing, and active membership. As Executive Director, it is my responsibility, under Rabbi Berkson’s and the Board’s leadership, to ensure that the operational side of CEEBJ runs as well as possible, and that we continue to foster a welcoming environment. Some areas on which I will focus are our membership services, financial management and overall operational efficiency, but I’m going to take the first several months getting to know both our people and processes, and of course, getting ready for the High Holy Days!
While I make this transition from congregant to professional staff, I look forward to getting to know all of you in new and deeper ways — please know that my door is always open! You can reach me via email at [email protected], by cell phone at (414) 797-1524, or through the CEEBJ main number, (414) 288-7545.
