Day-long Class on Ethical Wills

Monday, May 14 from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
CEEBJ will host a special program on writing your ethical will with Rachael Freed. Ethical wills are a way to share your love with family and close friends. Think of an ethical will as a heartfelt letter describing what truly matters most in your life. An ethical will passes on life lessons, values, joys, prayers, hopes, and dreams for present and future generations. Unlike a Last Will and Testament or a Living Will, an ethical will is NOT a legal document. An ethical will describes your treasures of the heart, not your treasures. The cost of the program is $100 and includes lunch. Please send your payment and contact information to the synagogue office by the end of April. If you have questions about holidays, or you’ve been wondering about their significance, come to this adult-level class during religious school to learn more! We’ll study the texts, the traditions, and the home observances of different holidays. Two-for-one this month on May 6: we’ll study Shavuot and daily rituals! Each class stands alone; come to as many as you’d like!
